Who is responsible for paying my wages?
Labour Options is responsible for paying employees their wages and superannuation
As a potential candidate looking for work, how should I apply with Labour Options?
To apply for work with Labour Options, we ask that you send us through a copy of your resume. This can be done via email, fax, or dropped in to our office. Once we receive your resume, one of our sales staff will contact you to organize a meeting/ interview if we think you are suitable for work. At your interview you will fill out our Employee Application forms – once this is all done, you will be successfully registered with Labour Options.
What qualification should I have to register with a labour hire?
The requirements will depend on the industry and trade. All of our construction positions require employees to have a current OH&S white card. Some positions may require additional qualifications such as a forklift license, confined space ticket, etc…
What other requirements do I need to register?
It is important to have your own basic PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before starting work. A driver’s license and vehicle is also helpful for travelling to job sites, but not essential. Also you will need to bring your TFN, Bank details, Superannuation information to your interview
